Westen Muntain

Westen Muntain is an self-taught woodcut reduction printmaker. She trained as a painter in Ohio, where her love affair with the land began; and consummated her affection in Italy, where she spent two years getting her MFA. Now she works in Arliington, and bases her landscapes on memories of Italy, dreams of Ohio, and the reality of Virginia. Her prints have been exhibited and sold both nationally and internationally. She works out of the Lee Arts Center, in Arlington, VA.
