In 2011 Old Town Suds was founded and originally to be a green cleaning product company. Our founder, Steffanie, began experimenting with ways she could cut back on chemicals in her condo after finding out she needed brain surgery. One of the best recommendations from those around her was to be more cautious with the items she was using in her environment. Until that point, Steffanie never really considered how products that were designed to “kill germs” could do more harm than good. The adventure of researching and making the founding products of Old Town Suds began.
First, it was a simple laundry detergent with one scent. Then, a few more scents made their appearance. Eventually, Steffanie developed several household cleaners that fit into her family’s everyday lifestyle.
